Pedigree

Masterpiece truly is a work of art with those gorgeous dark brown outlined donut rosettes.  He has a crisp clear light background with rich warm tones and a soft, sleek, tight, glittered pelt.  I love his wonderful wild face--long with broad puffy muzzle, light goggles, strong chin, well placed ears and a nearly straight nose profile.  He has a sturdy, long, lean, typey body and we expect him to be a good sized boy some day.  And to top it all off, he is very friendly, affectionate and loves everyone.  Master is pictured here at 5 months old.  We would like to thank Diana Smith for placing such a wonderful boy in our care.

Brilliant Gemstones - (QUEEN)

Gemma is our very own home grown girl.  We just love Gemma's gorgeous, silky smooth, pelt.  It is also short and tight with excellent clarity.  And she is dripping in beautiful golden glitter.  She has a wonderful wild face with big clear green eyes, well placed ears, a long face, puffy whisker pads and strong chin.  She has a lovely pattern with irregular shaped large dark brown outlined rosettes with brown centers on a rich warm clear background.  Gemma is a very athletic and agile girl and is capable of incredible leaps.  She tends to pass this on to her kittens.

Brilliant Kuma - (QUEEN)

Pedigree

Kuma has type, type and more type.  She is a small girl but very well proportioned with excellent structure and form.  She is very solid and sturdy with pronounced shoulder blades, thick neck and thick blunt tail.  I just love the way she moves--just like a wild cat.  She has a wonderful head with big clear green eyes, perfectly place small rounded ears and puffy muzzle.  Her nose profile is slightly concave.  She has loads of tiny dark brown outlined rosettes in random horizontal pattern with no hint of barring.  Her pelt is very short, and soft.  Kuma is very friendly, curious and outgoing.  She loves people and she makes very friendly little lap kitties.

Millwood Fires X Majestic Pride Harmonee

Opal is one of our keepers from Fires and Harmonee.  Surprisingly, considering her parents, she has cool brown tones with a very light ground colour and black outlined rosettes with brown centers.  She is very clear and has excellent contrast.  She has nice random pattern and no bars or vertical.  Her coat is short, silky soft, and glittered. She is a very solid and typey girl.  She has a nice small head with puffy muzzle, well placed small ears with rounded tips and big eyes.  She is pictured here at 11 weeks old and she will be bred to Masterpiece in the fall.

Millwood Fires X Majestic Pride Harmonee

Our lovely Luna is pictured here at 11 weeks old.  We were just thrilled when she was born since we had no idea that her parents carried for snow.   Luna has been DNA tested and is confirmed to be a seal lynx snow which means she will keep her lovely bright blue eyes.  She has an interesting random pattern of spots and small rosettes with no bars or vertical at all.  She has an incredibly silky, soft , short, and highly glittered pelt.  She is a very solid girl with nice type and a nice short blunt tail.  She has a nice head with puffy muzzle, deep chin and well placed small ears like her mom.  She is a confident , friendly and outgoing kitten.  We look forward to kittens from her and Masterpiece in late fall 2008.

Millwood Fires - (STUD)

Pedigree

There is so much to say about Fires but space just does not permit. Fires has a spectacular coat---clear, soft, tight, and glittered.  He has great contrast with a golden ground colour and dark brown outlined two toned rosettes.  He has excellent wild type and truly moves like a wildcat.  We love his wonderful head, long face, broad muzzle, strong chin, medium-small well placed ears with rounded tips.  He has a very muscular long body, long thick neck, pronounced shoulder blades, short thick tail, and great random pattern with horizontal flow and no barring at all.  This boy is son of the famous and very whited Millwood French Lace and he has several whited cats in his line--especially on his fathers side.  Although Fires himself is light cream underside, we hope he carries for white underside and will be a stepping stone in our goal towards producing whited kittens---especially when bred to our newest upcoming whited F4 queen Nikhila (see below).  And best of all, Fires has consistently produced very friendly little lap kitties that are confident and outgoing.

Majestic Pride Harmonee  - (QUEEN)

Pedigree

One definition of harmony is, " a pleasing combination of elements in a whole."  Well, our girl certainly lives up to her name.  She has a silky soft, glittered pelt with orange / brown tones.  She has brown outlined two tone rosettes with nice random pattern and no bars. She is very typey with excellent structure and form.  She has a small well shaped head, big eyes, light goggles, nice muzzle, strong chin, medium sized well placed ears with rounded tips and a short thick tail to name just a few of her wonderful features.  Harmonee comes from a fully adult whited father and has several whited cats in her line.  She has a light cream underside.  She and Fires will combine their whited genetics and hopefully produce some lovely white tummy kittens for us.  Harmonee also has a very sweet, gentle nature and is very friendly and affectionate.  

Banyan Tree Nikhila - (Upcoming QUEEN)

Pedigree

Nikhila means "complete" and this lovely little girl certainly has the complete package.  Not only does she have a very light, clear background with beautiful rosettes, excellent horizontal flow and no vertical or bars whatsoever, but she also has a wonderful wild face with puffy muzzle, white goggles, well placed ears, huge ALC eyes and an unconnected tabby M.  But best of all Nikhila has a full white tummy to complete her stunning package!!!!  Nikhila is expected to keep her white tummy as she comes from a whited to whited breeding with a long line of whited ancestors.  She will be the foundation of our long awaited whited program here at Brilliant.  Niki also has a sweet affection nature and friendly disposition and she is extremely agile and athletic.  Niki also carries the seal lynx snow gene so there is a good chance of her producing an occasional snow kitten.  We cannot thank Teresa Taylor enough for entrusting us with this very very special girl.  Nikhila is pictured here at 13 weeks old.
