Our Cattery

Our new cattery is starting to take shape!  We have endeavoured to create a pleasant and healthy environment for our cats in the basement of our home.  The cattery features porcelain tile flooring and painted walls.  Heavy duty industrial storage partitions, powder coated in white, for easy to clean but durable enclosures.  Two 1000 watt plus one 400 watt hydroponic full spectrum grow lights keep everything bright and provide healthy lighting for the cats.  There is a cat exercise wheel, sisal rope posts, and varnished pine shelving for the cats to play and climb.  New toys--balls and furry mice..., are introduced from time to time when the old ones get worn, dirty or boring.  Hanging (cat safe) plants add a nice touch and help with air quality.  Pregnant queens deliver and raise their kittens in upstairs bedrooms where we can keep an eye on them and play with them as they grow.  The cattery is a work in progress and we still plan to add more sisal posts, shelving, and eventually access to an out door cat run.  Photos will be updated as the cattery progresses.
